Modern Civility: From Chaos to Control
Project type
Editorial publication
Date
Aug 2026
Location
Malaysia
A collaborative editorial publication exploring the cultural insight of Modern Civility and the renewed appreciation for etiquette, structure, discipline, and professionalism among young adults.
My Role: Concept Development, Visual Direction, Layout Design & Publication Development
I initiated and developed the core concept for the publication, Too Free to Function, which explores how unlimited freedom and constant digital connectivity can contribute to social disorder. I contributed to the visual direction and layout design, helping translate the narrative into a visual progression from Brutalist chaos to Swiss-inspired structure. I also supported editorial sequencing, page development, and interactive elements for the digital publication.
