When Yesterday Lingers is a collaborative projection mapping project created for TERANG 2026, inspired by the theme of a Malaysian pasar (night market). The animation explores memories, culture, and the transition between past and present, following a visual journey from a traditional kampung home to the vibrant atmosphere of the pasar. Through illustration, animation, and visual storytelling, the project celebrates the cultural experiences and nostalgia associated with Malaysian night markets.
