Kenyan Heritage Postcard Series

This project explores cultural identity through illustrated postcard design, capturing both natural and everyday aspects of Kenyan heritage from an insider perspective.

I developed two compositions representing wildlife and cultural life, combining illustration, pattern, and colour to communicate different dimensions of place. One focuses on savannah wildlife and tourism, while the other highlights cultural elements such as traditional foods and textile-inspired patterns.

Through careful layering of motifs, typography, and colour systems, I constructed a visual narrative that balances vibrancy with cultural grounding.

The final outcome is a set of illustrated postcards that translate cultural identity into a structured visual storytelling format.
